DALEVILLE, ALA. — The Army says a soldier has been found dead at Fort Rucker in southeast Alabama.
A statement said the soldier was participating in a navigation training exercise Wednesday but didn’t return.
WDHN-TV reports that as many as 100 people and bloodhounds searched for the missing soldier, who was found dead Thursday.
The military said foul play isn’t suspected, but it hasn’t released a possible cause of death or the person’s name.
An accident investigation team will lead an inquiry into the death.
