One airman charged with first-degree murder and two airmen and an Air Force spouse charged in connection with the deaths of children have upcoming trial dates:
■Tech. Sgt. Jarom Boyes is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of his wife.
Staff Sgt. Melissa Boyes, 24, a pharmacy technician at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., was killed in her off-base home April 4.
An arrest warrant accused Jarom Boyes of shooting his wife during an argument.
The couple had been married just more than four years. Jarom Boyes is scheduled to stand trial Feb. 3 in Clark County, Nev.
■Tiffany Klapheke stands trial in January on a charge of felony injury to a child in connection with the death of her 22-month-old daughter, Tamryn.
Senior Airman Christopher Perez already was sentenced Oct. 18 to three years in prison and a dishonorable discharge for adultery and child endangerment in connection with the 2012 death at the childís home on Dyess Air Force Base, Texas.
Perez was having an affair with Tiffany Klapheke.
An autopsy revealed Tamryn had died from malnutrition and dehydration.
■Senior Airman Matthew Theurer of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., is accused of discarding the body of his 1-year-old son on a road about 100 miles from base.
He is scheduled for court-martial Jan. 27 on charges of involuntary manslaughter, negligent homicide, child endangerment, obstruction, making a false official statement and killing another while involved in a dangerous act.
■Airman 1st Class Richard Laubach of Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, is set to stand trial in a civilian court March 31 on a first-degree murder charge in the beating death of his 22-month-old stepson.
