FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The Army Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg is honoring the quiet warriors who have been killed in the past year of war.

The command that oversees the Green Berets and other units will hold a ceremony Thursday next to the command's headquarters building to remember 28 soldiers who died in war. They include at least one woman, Capt. Jennifer Moreno.

The commanding general of Special Operations will pay tribute to the soldiers, whose names will be added to a memorial wall. Family members, friends and guests with ties to the fallen soldiers are expected to attend.
