Your new camo: Tell us what you think

A swatch of Scorpion camouflage. The Army is adopting a variation of this camo to replace the Universal Camouflage Pattern on ACUs. ()

The Army has picked a new camo pattern: Scorpion W2 is coming to a closet near you.

Thatís big news for soldiers who are done with the Universal Camouflage Pattern (some half-jokingly claim it only works in a gravel parking lot, or on the moon).

The new pattern, meanwhile, looks a little like something youíve worn to Afghanistan lately (ahem, MultiCam).

So we want to hear what you think about the Armyís latest camo decision.

Do you like Scorpion? If you prefer another pattern, which one? And are there any fans of UCP out there ... anybody?

While youíre at it, how about the rest of your combat uniform: Your rank insignia, Velcro, pockets, the fact that you canít roll up your sleeves in summer. Does the fabric work for you, and are the pants tough enough?

Please share your opinions and personal experiences ó and be specific. Your thoughts might appear in an upcoming article.

Please send your comments to armylet@armytimes.com.
