A man attempted to break in to the Silvery family home in Clayton County, Georgia, and was met by a disabled Army veteran who punched him in the face, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.

Greg Silvery, who was naked at the time, rushed out of his bedroom to help his son who screamed for help. As the intruder pushed to get through the door, Greg, who is 6'3 and 340 lbs., gathered all his strength and punched him in the face. "I saw his eyes roll back and he hit that and he fell back," Greg told the television station.

"My naked behind is coming and then my youngest son has a big cook knife behind me," he said. Concerned the intruder might have a gun, he then shut the door, told his family to get back and laid across the floor while his wife dialed 911. The intruder managed to get away.

"I am sorry he got hurt, but he came in to do dirt so dirt was done to him," Rhonda Silvery, Greg’s wife, told Fox 5 Atlanta.

When the threat was over and everyone was alright, one of his sons pointed out he had no clothes on, giving the family to have a good laugh after a frightening moment, Greg said.

"I saved my family, my wife, my sons and we are going to have family dinner tonight, to celebrate God's goodness, Easter Sunday," Greg said.
