Landing theme park military discounts for your L.A. adventure

A quick look at some military-specific savings offered by some of the best-known tourist destinations in the Los Angeles area. One note: Savings offered equal or exceed these offers, so it’s worth checking there first. Not near an office? Call Navy Region Southwest at

A three-day “park hopper” admission pass for $156 or a four-day pass for $181. A typical three-day park-hopper pass can run $300. Service members can buy up to six.

Hotel deals are also available, though there are blackout dates in mid-April and length-of-stay requirements.

What: A military ID gets you $48 general admission tickets (regular price can be up to $75) and $45 children/senior tickets at the gate. Ticket prices may be cheaper online; the park uses to verify military identification.

When: No closing date, although last year, the park offered complimentary tickets to military members in November and December.

What else: Some of the park’s vendors also offer discounted merchandise to service members.


What: A valid military or government ID for active or retired service members earns the bearer $3 off both general admission and youth (48 inches and shorter) tickets. But better deals could come from your installation ticket office and/or
the Navy Region Southwest contact line.
