Send us your drawings and photos
To mark National Military Appreciation Month in May, we’re planning a month-long online salute to service members and their families. As part of that coverage, we’d like to showcase your work alongside ours. There are two ways you can contribute:
KIDS’ ARTWORK: Are your children good with crayons or color pencils? We’re looking for drawings by children of their father, mother, siblings or other family members in uniform. What does a “hero” look like to them? If you have a drawing taped to your rack or refrigerator, we want to see it. Upload your child’s work to our Web site here, or e-mail it to milphoto@militarytimes.com. Write “Salute the Troops” in the subject line
YOUR PHOTOS: How’s your eye with a digital camera? We want to see your best snapshots. Deployment ceremonies, homecomings, candid moments around the FOB — anything goes so long as it has a patriotic theme. Upload your photos to our Web site here, or e-mail them to milphoto@militarytimes.com. Again, be sure to write “Salute the Troops” in the subject line.
All submissions must be received by Wednesday, April 30.
