This brings up a question I have been mulling over for quite some time now. . .If NAVY Corpsmen are an intergrel part of a Marine unit, then why is there not a Corpsmen serving on the presidential guard with the Marines? Admitedly standing guard is not realy a corpsmens job speciality, I am more curious why the Marines don’t honor “Doc” in that way.
