There is one thing that always hits my heart strings – always. It’s the homecoming scenes of returning troops seeing their families for the first time. Here are three of them. During the holidays we often talk about going home, and these videos do a good job of capturing those moments.
The first is a home-spun video showing the way returning troops should be welcomed.
This is a nice video of a father returning home – his family allowed him to spend some time with his daughter.

There are a million more like them. Go to one of the video sites and search for “military homecoming surprise” or “father comes home from Iraq”, or something similar and watch. And be thankful for what you have and what these families go through for all of us.
