The FORRESTAL memorial

I received a note from the FORRESTAL Association, one of the more active ship alumni organizations I have seen. The Association recently received permission to build a memorial to the FORRESTAL near the East Texas Regional Airport in Longview, Texas. The site will display an A-4 Skyhawk initially, soon to be followed by an F-4 Phantom.
As part of their fundraising efforts, they are offering the opportunity to “buy a brick”, on which you can put your name, rank, and other personal information; or a message of your choice. Each brick only costs 59 bucks, and it’ll be there forever. Here is how they will look:
