Afghan and coalition forces scored a couple of big victories Thursday, suffering only one minor injury and no loss of life. Read, “Troops in Afghanistan kill more than 30 insurgents” (DOD), and, “US says 35 militants killed in Afghanistan.” (AFP)
Also mentioned in the latter article was a battle last week where over 60 militants were killed by coalition forces. By all accounts Afghanistan is a tough place to fight, but our troops are acquitting themselves brilliantly if you ask me.
