M-ATVs are coming

About a month ago, the first shipment of the new all-terrain vehicles called M-ATVs, arrived in Afghanistan. And more are coming. They provide the same protection as MRAPs, but are better in all-terrain driving. Here’s a picture of one (from Marine Corps Times).
Defense Secretary Gates told workers at the Oshkosh plant where they are being built, “Few other projects have such a direct and immediate impact on warfighters.”
Thousands more are on the way.
