More good news from Iraq

Well, I didn’t see this anywhere in the news, but it’s big. Five commands were consolidated into one in Iraq, as forces continue to be drawn down. By the Status of Forces agreement, all U.S. forces are to be out of the country by the end of 2011. President Obama announced that all combat units will be out by August of 2010, leaving between 35,000 and 50,000 support personnel there until the end of 2011. To that end, “U.S. Forces – Iraq stands up in Baghdad.”
