For a few years now the U.S. Navy has been field-testing a blue digitized camouflage uniform to replace several already in use.

Better head back to the drawing boards because the Iraqi police are already wearing them.

Not only have the Iraqis issued these uniforms to their guys on the street, they’ve trademarked them, printing tiny Iraqi flags into the pattern.

I really don’t want to wear that pile thread of office carpeting. I’m deeply proud of my BDU’s and spit shining my boots.

You know the funny thing? The Iraqi police may have them and have their flag in them but it isn’t the same colors that Navy is taking on board. I was a participant for the Task Force Uniform wear test and I would be proud to wear the new uniforms. We can still spit shine our boots because the suade boots are for select shore tours. Also, other countries have and wear other uniforms similar to ours so I don’t see what the problem is.

I don’t see the flag! This is like that scene in the movie Mallrats where the guy stares at the picture for hours and everyone goes by him going “Oh a sailboat” but he can’t see it! This is my sailboat!

If I go overboard, will I be seen by rescue? At least we are loosing this PepBoys uniform.
