Scholarships available for student entrepreneurs
A new scholarship is available for veterans enrolled or planning to enroll in college-level studies in franchising or entrepreneurship.
The Dwyer Group, a holding company for six franchise brands and a member of the International Franchise Association’s VetFran program, offers the new scholarship.
The Dwyer Group plans to award a $2,500 scholarship annually for the next three years through IFA’s Education Foundation Veterans Scholarship Fund.
It’s the fifth such scholarship offered through IFA. To be eligible, scholarship candidates must have received an honorable discharge from any branch of the U.S. military or Coast Guard and be enrolled in or about to enroll in an entrepreneurial course of study at an accredited college or university.
For an application, call the IFA Educational Foundation at (202) 628-8000. For more information about the scholarship programs, visit the International Franchise Association site.
