Enlistment rules: Navy

The Navy currently offers enlistment bonuses to those who agree to train in critical skills. The pay-outs currently range from $2,000 to $40,000. The bonus is not paid upon initial enlistment, but paid in increments throughout training.
Timeline for payment depends on the specific program that the sailor enlists for. The Navy Personnel Command had two web links that can help decipher this benefit.
