Service members now can access transition assistance information through the Defense Department’s new TurboTAP Web site.
The first phase of the transition tool is complete, in what the Defense Department characterizes as a “soft launch.” The initial launch allows service members to register, start an account and access a “comprehensive pre-separation guide for active-duty service members,” according to a news release.
Transition information for National Guard and reserve members is planned to follow within the next 45 days, with enhanced features to follow over the next six to nine months.
