As a former paramedic, was I able to view the human body injured, misshapen, diseased and traumatized for the good of the country, but unable to exercise individual responsibility by going to a strip club on a Friday night? More importantly, if this bill does succeed, what will be done with the money, since it won’t be used to stock the shelves with Playboy or Penthouse? That perhaps is a better question to ask since, if he’s going to restrict a key component of our rights, he’s going to need to come up with a better replacement.

DoD blasted for recruiting felons, not gays

The bottom line here is that the Corps is hemorrhaging experienced Marines due to the policies of this commandant and his lackeys. He has instigated tattoo policies that are running even more Marines out because he has let it be known that they are career-limited due to the ink on their skin. Just how smart is that to then decide to replace these good Marines with the dredges of society (as long as they are ink free)?

fix flight debacle

ATA shut its ops down a few weeks ago and AMC is still sitting on their hands. I’m sure the excuses would be plentiful as to why this is taking so long to correct. Northwest Airlines had agreed to take over some of the flights that ATA dropped when they went out of business. We have troops all over the world needing rides, whether it be from the desert or from the west coast to Japan on a PCS. I love the lowest bidder mindset. Forget quality and longevity, let’s get the shoddiest airplanes, the most underpaid aircrew, and hire them and just cross our fingers everything goes [well].
