I am looking for feedback from soldiers who have used night vision equipment:
Were the controls easy to use?
Any problems while wearing the equipment (comfort, fit, firing weapon, wearing while running,....)?
Issues dealing with the picture (tracking targets, identifying targets,...)?
Any other common problems?

The controls are pretty easy after a few minutes playing with it. Depending on how you wear them depends on the confort. I wore them on my Kevlar helmet and made a pouch on the back of the helmet to put a mag of rounds in to balance the helmet. I would also suggest wearing a pair of goggles or glasses to retain your perriferal vision. I definately wouldnt suggest running with them on, depth perception really sucks with them. Shooting is not hard if you have an IR laser that is BZO's or just watch your tracers. Another trick is to put the laser lense filter on them, this will help with them blacking out during bright light, just turn them a little bit and it will reflect off the lens and you can see then. I prefer the older 7B or 7d vice the 14B.

OPSEC is a big thing bud. But everything said here can easily be found on usmc.mil websites. type nvg users manual usmc and see if you can find it. It can pretty much all be found from a TECOM website. This is not meant to start an argument. I do appreciate that you come here and observe such things and make comments in reference to OPSEC. However ensure that you know what you are talking about prior to being disrespectful. Once again thanks for watching out for our fellow Marines.

Yeah, I know, it's unclassified. Discussing the limitations and specific capabilities of our gear may be unclass, but it is still sensitive and those of us who know such things should keep it to ourselves. If this guy wants to know so bad, he can go to a trade show (where he has to register) and ask. If I asked you hey, what are the limitations and possible weaknesses of our standard patrol operations, would you tell me? Of course not. Still unclas.

While i was in iraq i got bored one day. Wikipedia told me everything i wanted to know about certian radios i use. Since i am in maintence there are times where i need certian NSN's or other information that i do not have readily available. I google about 75% of stuff i do not know. Its crazy how much information is out there. Its not like we are telling him what types we are using and for what. The information he is asking for cannot hurt us.
