hello, i was wondering if i were able to get a tattoo waiver would this affect my chances of becoming a force recon marine? i have a sleeve tattoo on my left arm, all traditional american styled tattoos, and a tattoo on my right shin. will i even be able to get a waiver? i greatly appreciate any help you can offer.

You won't even be able to enlist if you have sleeve tattoo on your arm or shin.
If you do get in, they will be more concerned with you hacking the physical and mental challenges than how many tattoos you have.

I got a waiver for my tats when I decided to join, however I did not have a sleeve. I only had 4 small tatts and now I have over 20 AND I CAN'T GET ANYMORE THANKS TO THE NEW MARINE CORPS ORDER! well i can get them, just not where other people can see them.

You can get tattoo waivers
Not for sleeves, if they violate the CMC's new order. If you can't get it in the fleet now, you can't come in with it. That's the way a recruiter explained it to me.

i am trying to join the air force and have a tattoo(a red cardinal) on my neck i have gone for 7 laser treatments and have even resorted to bleaching techniques!! I have been hearing about waivers tho and i have no idea were to look or what i should do to get ahold of these or even if i qualify. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated....Thank you!
