Prior Service Re Enlistment Bonus ?

I'm Army Prior service, Considering reenlistment in the reserves/ Guard system. I'm being told I would get a $15,000.00 bonus for a 6 x 2 enlistment.

My question is this if I was to do this how and when do they pay out the bonus ?

when I did it I recieved half when I transferred, and half after three years.
