Call Me/Don't Call Me Shipmate Poll

After reading the Don’t Call Me Shipmate thread I thought maybe a poll would be interesting.

Didnt like either awnser to the poll. I will address any sailor in a same or lower paygrade as shipmate.. even higher paygrades are my shipmates. You just wont see me walking up to my LCPO and call him shipmate.

The term shipmate has been around and will be around. Even when someone is getting in you a$@ because you messed up, if he calls you shipmate, at least they are seeing you as one of his/her shipmates.

People take things way to personal. Come work with me in the FMF and get called all other types of names, then complain about being called shipmate.

If you couldnt tell I like being called shipmate. Been in 8 years and love it.
