The Air Force met its monthly recruiting goal for December, according to the Air Force Recruiting Service at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.
The service signed on 2,975 new recruits in December, 100 percent of the monthly goal, according to an AFRS report.
The average age of the recruits was 20 years old.
The recruiting goal for fiscal 2009, which began in October, is 31,980 recruits. The Air Force is on track to meet the goal.
