You've got issues... your "No. Enlisted clean up after the commisioned officers for a reason." option says a whole lot about your self confidence, and likely the confidence of those you serve under, because if you feel your sole roll is to clean up after officers, you are seriously underestimating yourself and your rank...

Act like a leader and you'll be treated like one.

Why would calling someone an "enlisted officer" show more respect? One has to completely, unequivocally EARN respect, it can not be demanded nor shown emptily. That crow and chevrons, or that gold fouled anchor actually mean something very important. Thousand of U.S. enlisted petty officers have died over many many years fighting for our country. Do you think that dying at the business end of a Long Lance torpedo, or Stuka, or MIG, or an 18" shell was lessened by the fact that someone's rank was "Petty Officer"?

This has got to be the stupidist thing I've read today, besides Kerry's defence of Tom Daschle's tax-evasion.

I just read on CNN.com that Petty Thieves were demanding to be called "Small Scale Professional Larcenists".

On the Food Network, Alton Brown said that Petit Fours should now be called: "Miniature Gourmet Cake Delicacies".

The Pettibone Crane Company Board of Directors wants to change the name of the company to "Bigbone Crane Company"

SHeesh!!!!! Everyone is on this bandwagon now!

I joined the navy so someone wouldn't call me a private....(haha). Petty works for me.
