Does anyone have any insight on the selection process for a special duty as a recruiter. Im curious because i am in a chronic shortage career field and i just recieved an SRB. Is it even worth the time to submit a package or will it automatically get turned down????

Has the info you are looking for. It may or may not get turned down by your functional. I was turned down at first but I have some friends in high places and they pulled some strings.

All anyone can do is offer you their opinions, which would not be the "official" Air Force response. There is information in the vMPF and on AFPC about special duty assignments. If you are really interested the best thing you can do is speak to you local MPF personnel and submit the package... All they can do is say yes or no.

The official way to join is on the website I listed. It lets you know every step. I didnt go through vMPF at all.
