The Air National Guard announced a new deputy director Friday.
Maj. Gen. Patrick J. Moisio, commander of the 162nd Fighter Wing at Tucson International Airport, took over the position from Brig. Gen. Stanley Clarke III.
Clarke became the military assistant to the Air Force deputy chief of staff for strategic plans and programs last year.
Moisio flew A-10 Thunderbolt IIs and A-7D Corsairs in the active-duty Air Force before joining the Air Guard in 1984.
