Hi all! Sorry if this has been asked before but I searched (and searched, and searched some more... LOL) and can't find the answers and the recruiter we spoke with didn't really know either. So, first question: Is there an age limit to become an Army Ranger? My husband is 31 and I know he can join the Army but I can't find anything on age limits for Rangers. Second: I know he will need a security clearance to be a Ranger but he has a DUI from Feb. 2003 and a DWI from June 2005. Will this prevent him from getting one?

Thanks in advance!

Honestly, I cannot recall an age for Rangers, only for Special Forces. However I do know that with two DUI/DWI's he will not get ranger. He may be able to swing Airborne Infantry at max. The recruiter you spoke with may be new. I would say talk to him/her again and if they do not have the answers speak to the station commander, they will have it. Good Luck..
