abnormal heart beat when i join

i have a abnormal heart beat, will that be a big issure when i join the army.will that keep me from joinning the army? if anyone knows the answer please let me know.

That is all dependent on the severity of the "abnormal" heartbeat. Does the condition disable you? Is the condition documented and so severe that it limits your daily activity? I can't give you the total answer, but such a condition MIGHT prevent you from joining.

Your best chance is to visit the recruiter and explain your condition. The recruiter will do everything to help you. Every potential recruit undergoes a physical examination to determine suitability; do not attempt to hide a possibly debilitating condition. The physical will determine if you are qualified.

Don't be afraid to give it a shot. Many Soldiers are successful that have other than perfect health.
