Ha ha - just kidding. :D

Figured how every few days we have some lame thread about this topic, I figured I'd put my own spin on this.

Tops in Blues will be taking audition for the new theme starting this Fall.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

"The Man" did make a few funny quips today... one of which involved PT, "We finally came up with PT gear that folks in California can't hear it when you are doing PT in Japan."

I'm surprised that the PA office at HQ USAF hasn't thought of something like this sooner...not that I want to give them any ideas.....

I always thought the pants and jackets were that way on purpose. That way, cars can hear you coming. As an additional bonus, when in formation runs, everyone moving together, it sounds like an F16 taking off. Very airforcey. ;)

Tops in Blue is coming to Hill, oddly enough I have to "work" that night! What does the new PT pants and jacket look like?

Their PT gear will have blue and silver sequins to inspire both audience members and future Air Force members alike. They will all run a mile and half while they sing the Air Force Anthem and the new tune written specifically to the Airman's Creed. The crowd won't help but to be mesmerized ~ ! :D

ROFL... despite Machine's inside track to all that is sequins, the new stuff looks like the old stuff. It is just a softer materiel. I got to check out a set while at the CLC... seems much better. They are still workingon the fit of the pants, to make them less baggy. Seems like this ain't rocket science... and we aren't inventing anything new... but I guess that's what you get with low-bid contractors working it.

They have changed the shorts to make them a bit longer, and added pockets (just what we need). And for those who will miss the nut-huggers, they are also coming out with a runner's short.

If that doesn't make them run to the Army recruiters nothing will. People will think that we are the Navy.

Will they include the sequined tap shoes and KISS platform boots that Gene Simmons used to wear back in the day? Tops in Blue will be certain to have crowd pleasers in both young and old alike if they're sporting those babies when they do a number....

And the nut-huggers will be Richard Simmons approved (not to be confused with the aforementioned Gene Simmons) and lauded by the soon-repealed DADT population :D

Good thing with the pockets on the shorts. I will miss the swishing sound of the pants though:) Just remember EVERYTHING was built buy the lowest bidder.

The pockets on the shorts is a dumb idea... all that is going to end up in them is hands. Make a small funtional zippered pocket for an ID Card and keys and leave it at that.

I thought the pocket inside your shorts was supposed to useful for something like that.

I think more people would also prefer to have a pocket for their IPod especially.

Ijust got back from my unit PT. The Gym had music blaring over the PA...even outside, the spin class had their own music blaring over the Gym's music, another unit had a room doing stations with with their own music blaring. I thought I was in a frickin arcade.

No when he was at Ramstein I would walk by him all the time and never say a word....and I still get his junk mail on occasion. The last was a lingerie catalogue of sorts. :D

That would be annoying, at least they didn't pipe the Airman's Creed on a continious loop.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tops in Blue incorporated the new PT uniform into one of their routines, no singing just dancing with the only sound being the PT pants rustling. That just might top them singing the Airman's Creed in the AOR, which they did recently.

You mean using PT gear in a Stomp-ish kinda way? Hmm...the possibilities...

Ha ha ~ ! Holy crap! They actually have a song for the Airman's Creed!? No way! I just said that as a joke because as gay and as lame as it sounds, it would be something that the Air Force would actually consider doing....wow......did I call it on that one or what?! I'm afraid to actually hear what the stupid thing would sound like too....wow.

YGBSM - I gotta check this thing out first chance I get. I hope it's done with a humorous tone and not seriously. Ass-kissers are becoming an abundance these days....:(
