Hello, please forgive any ignorance I may show in this thread but I am brand new to this forum and am considering joining the military as an officer.
A bit about me:
I have a BA in Political Science.
I am a paralegal with training from Oxford Univeristy in the UK.
I currently work for the UN and have for 5 years.
I am very very bored with my current life and am thinking its time to do something I can actually excell at/be proud of.
I am very strong, workout, run, and am intelligent. I love my country and have always had a romantic ideal when it comes to the Marine Corps.
I am coming here for pointers on the best way to enlist, what MOS's I should consider etc. I am a TOTAL noob when it comes to the military and can use any advice you can offer. I would like to have the military pay for part of my grad degree, and eventually would like to work again in political risk, intelligence, or other field for the DOD, or other private firms that deal with this. Thanks for your help.
