I know for my 2nd Marine's boot camp, they showed a video of all of them just standing there for the platoon picture as they panned from face to face, but they only do that at MCRD San Diego. No such luck for my My Parris Island Marine. I found the link on the MarineParents.com website. There is probably something similar for Army Parents. Start Googling, my dear.
