I have been hearing a lot about wait list for A schools in the cost guard i was wondering if any one has an info on this

all A scholls have different wait times. if your scores on the ASVAB are high enough you get to go to school right after a short vacation in Cape May. my advice would be to find out what really interests you and apply for the job, regardless of the wait. this will give you time in the field to see how the rates interact and the watches they stand.
