How Much Do MInesman Travel??

how you guys doing im about to leave to boot camp in novemebr and my job field is Minesman and i would like to know more about this field mainly about how much they travel can someone please help me ive been trying to figure it out for ab out a year now since ive been in DEP and no body has answers any help anyone?

A friend of mine is a mineman and he seemed to advance to E-5 rather quickly. I think I recall hearing that he made E-6 as well. I'm not disagreeing with CVal here, but I just wanted to throw that in.

What do you mean as far as travel? As in, where can you be stationed or are you asking about the minesweeper ships and deployments? Travel seems to be a fairly vague question on this one.
