Hot off the grapevine, I heard that there's going to be a new PT AFSC that's coming out exclusively! It's supposed to be the 3MTA3 careerfield and will be open exclusively to the ranks of E-7 and above who are looking to enhance their promotion opportunities.

I've also heard that under the new PT test standards that are about to come out, you can re-test your waist measurement if it's that time of the month and can reschedule it when yer Aunt Flo has finally left.

I've also heard that if you hold a blue tooth device like your Ipod too close to the heart monitor that you will wear for the walk, that it will cause interference and you will be able to get a better heart rate reading.

I've also heard that if you're at a GSU that you can take the Army version of the PT test instead of the new AF test, and if you're part of a NATO unit that you can defer your PT test until you return to a normal Air Force squadron.

I've also heard that Jesus Christ is coming back soon, and this thread I just started is complete horseshit, inspired by the fact there are too many damn PT threads running around out there!

Now let's give this golden calf the Air Force wants us to worship a rest already. Or as Mark Twain put it "Sacred Cows make the best hamburgers!"

:D :D :D :D :D :D

I say if you can break 80 on the golf course, you're exempt from the PT test...
