 It makes me mad when i pick up Army times and i read an article about Salsa dancing, yoga clubs, etc... . After 5 deployments in 16 yrs I have experienced stress of combat zones, separation from family and a lot more. So my question is, so what?. What is a soldier to do to release stress and forget about where he/she is?. Those who critique the military so much, i invite u to put on the uniform and come join us. Then experience some of our daily chore and then tell me about some things u can do to forget about deployments and stress.

The military isnt for everyone. Those before you have gone through your same situations and lived to tell the story. If this is too much for you to bear then you're welcome to exit once your contract is over with.
We fight for the freedom of speech, meaning the good AND the bad speech. It cant be all fluffy teddy bears and rainbows in this world

You said it Michaep "once your contract is over with." Who are you to tell someone this when you run from IRR (your contract isn't over with)?

dude, have you ever said one positive thing to anyone on here? I would really hate to have to deal with you negative nancy all day at work. Also, when someone has been in a lot longer than your sorry ass then i believe you give that person some respect. Stick to the Call of Duty and pretend your a billy bad ass on there, because everyone knows to take what you say and flush it around here.

While Yoga and Salsa are not for me, if soldiers are finding relief and it keeps them from becoming another statistic in the suicide column I am all for it. When we look at the relief our Grandfathers and Great Grandfathers had during wartime, Passes to Paris or weekend on an island we don't get that. So if dancing is working as way to reduce stress have at it. But in no way will I ever wear an ACU Tutu...lol
