New Robo Dog is just stupid and useless

I just finished reading the piece in the latest army times about the four legged robot that can haul 400 pounds of gear for Soldiers. All I can say is that this is one of the dumbest ideas we've come up with yet. One thing really stood out to me and it was the fact that this robot can move 20 miles in 24 hours. I am not the best at math but I'm pretty sure that's less than a mile an hour. Could you imagine Soldiers moving slower than a mile an hour? Wow!

there were fobs in Afghanistan that my unit had that were accessible by foot or helicopter. or donkey. I'm sure they could've used and appreciated it.

also, things typically suck at the outset -- computers, cars, etc.-- and they improve through continued R&D.
