The more I read about this guy the more it back up my opinion that this guy had no business having a military ID let alone being a commissioned officer.

If he were a white male who espoused extremist views, he would have been kicked out years ago.

Doubtful. In this day and age, it seems white males are the ones held back..

I'll agree 120% that this guy was allowed to slip through the cracks... and by slip through the cracks I mean his fellow officers slid him to those cracks so they didn't have to deal with it themselves. But at the same time, don't go pulling "Oh, reverse racism makes everyone hate whitey!" |

But there is truth to it. When you see 4 people do the same crime, but cause 1 is a minority he gets less of a sentence, what else are you to think?

More often than not in America, when I see four people commit the same crime, 3 being white and one being a minority, two of the white guys get off while that last guy gets a harder sentence than the minority.
This is definitely going off topic though... back to the main thought, I think if the FBI and Army had collaborated AND been able to identify that he had bought a weapon, he wouldn't have made it to Fort Hood that day. I mention the fact about him buying a weapon not because that alone made him guilty (I'm not psyched about anyone buying weapons, there's a military for a reason, but I also realize that 99% of the time the system we have works), but because on top of everything else it should have made him a person of higher interest. I also agree, he probably didn't get investigated hardcore because of people worried about getting hit with racial profiling charges. |

I know they probably do exist, but really...how many white gangs to you see running around at night? Yes, whites do commit violent crimes, but blacks and hispanics are far more likely (percentage wise) to commit such crimes. You can't blame us for the fact that a majority of our prison population is black and hispanic. Nice try, but WRONG again. |

x3 'Unregistered-11',, Not to continue to derail the topic, but, who hasn't seen the most latest blatant PC Tv commercial? It's the "Broadview Security" (was Brinks) commercial, its always showing the bad, evil white male kicking in the door, front and back. We all know who is doing the most blitz kick-in, follow grandMa home and hit her in the driveWays, grabbing the Mom's purses pushing baskets of groceries. I've called BroadView about their racist comms.
Back to topic; Gates investigation chair team (Toto West as one) is like turning the hen house over to the fox. The real truth will not come out and everyone will sugar smear over it because they are biggest cause of the problem. POS like Hassan and others will continue as the past twenty two years.
