Through the eyes of a child

We're looking for drawings from children about their father, mother, siblings or other family members serving. What does "hero" look like to them? Have a drawing taped to your rack or locker? Getting ready to send a drawing in the e-mail? Scan it or post a photo of your child's drawing here or send it via e-mail it to milphoto@militarytimes.com for possible inclusion in our Drawing Gallery to run online during Military Appreciation Month.

The drawings received thus far are perfect! Kids are so amazing! Please remember that if you're submitting drawings via e-mail, be sure that your mail preferences are set to allow e-mail from @militarytimes.com. If you choose to upload to the message board, be sure to register so we have a way to contact you.

Once we receive enough drawings, we will incorporate these into our month-long Salute to the Troops for Military Appreciation Month.

Submission deadline is April 30.

Editor's Note: Although the deadline has now passed, we're always interested in your photos. They can still be submitted for possible inclusion in future photo galleries.
