Angry Re: You choose

Why can't we get over this digital pattern and move on to something better? We never should have changed patterns or color in the first place. If its not broke why fix it?

# 2 is already in production and it works

#3 though is more effective

the reason we digitized the camo in the first place is becouse with NVG's the digi pattern scatters our shape so we are basiclly invisable to someone wearing NVG's not that some raghead is wearing NVG's but other coutrys that are not freindly like N.Korea,Iran, etc have NVG technology so i go for #3 but #2 is cheaper so i guess we will see

What if you add some black to the brown existing pattern.

Arrow Why

look all the patterns look good, but why not just stick to what was working. The woodland camo was good, but if you want to modernize it then fine digitize it. The DCU was working good and everyone still talks about the DCU. so here is my solution, Keep the colors and and just have 2 uniforms, yeah it cost more but it worked. I guess you just have to fix it till it broken...

Thumbs up Re: You choose

MultiCam works. I bought some because it does. It would be the best alternative. But this enhanced digi-cam looks like a good possibility too. I've said many times that the UPC would work better in these colors. I would have to see tests, but from this, I might venture to say that it could work well.

Multi-cams work well in Afghanistan. I have worn them over there and was happy with how well they blended in. Pattern 1 is the Army trying to salvage something that can't be saved. The Digi looks not bad, but a little too green. Look at the multi cam it has green it but can look brown and tan at the same time. I am not sure if it would work, but perhaps they should try making the multi-cam digital. I am not sure if that would destroy the pattern or not.

Thank you for adding this poll, it was greatly needed. Now they need to put one on AKO for Soldiers to voice their opinion. The Army should do that and factor it into their decision.

I use Multi Cam.
I also use the good old Tiger Stripe in pine woods, works great.
Somehow, someone injected into the doctrine that black does NOT occur in nature. BS!
I sit in pine woods, and see black everywhere. Also grey, red, green in three or four shades, Brown, yellow, blue.
But it is the "black doesn't occur" doctrine that really gripes me. It does. A lot.
Black lichens, black bears, black birds, black rocks, black tree trunks in burn areas, black understory in thickly grown forests, It occurs.
If there is one thing that seems to never change, it is this:
decisions are made by people who don't have to live with the consequences of those decisions.
