I got a kick out of this, click on week one, physical training overview. Someone needs to tell this MTI to get his facts straight. |

I don't know about "fun" I would find it pretty amusing though. You can't honestly think, with any sense of reality, that the average BMT graduate is anywhere near the average Marine Corp Boot Camp graduate. That being said, there are those freaks of nature that are insane physical specimens in every branch of service. I'm talking in general here. If you took two identical people, same physical condition, and put them through each respective training pipeline, there is no way in hell that the one coming out of lackland would have the same level of fitness as the one coming out of MCRD Parris Island or San Diego. You guys would have us beat in the "who has a big gay flashlight" contest though!

I don't know what it is but I'm super motivated today. So when I saw this clip of the MTI or whatever they're called say what he said, I had to call laugh out loud and call the B.S. flag.
http://airforce.com/opportunities/en...asic-training/ Really, Air Force? I mean, sure there are some fatbodies in the fleet but right out of recruit training, they are far and few between that leave the depots.

Youd beat us in the who had a great big bay flashlight contest .... haha that was classic, all jokes aside if you think that on average the Air force is more in shape then the USMC.... report to your SACO for drug testing than immediately to your S-1 for outprocessing for either popping positive or being a complete retard

I remember one of my cousins. Back in the day. Like pre 911, and he decided to go to AF boot camp. It wasn't as hard as your man on the video said it is now I guess. But I can remember this guy, my cousin, after a week, calling home crying about wanting to come home. The fucked up part is, they sent his ass home. So, when I graduated from P.I. after 7.5 moths of not having a left heel, I thought about this punk of a family member not being able to deal with AF boot camp and it dawned on me, NOT EVERYBODY CAN BE A DAMN MARINE! I can listen to openionated cliches all day but, facts, and the facts of simple history is all that matters. There is no fucking way anything besides books and technical shit that the AF is tougher than us. No way! Just ask my cousin!

I had a buddy of mine, grew up from the 1st grade with...went to boot camp a year after I did and didn't make it out. He was sent home because he hurt his knee. I've yet to ask him about it and he's yet to share the story. Bottom line is, I don't care what happened to him. Instead of being a Marine...he's a civilian. That's the end of that.
Not everyone is the same..not every Marine is the same. Some make it by and some don't. We've all seen the one's and thought, "how the hell did he/she get ouf of boot camp?" Happened before and it will happen again.

I was just thinking about how my senior would have responded if one of us had referred to him as a cuddly den mother.
I'm thinking an Island Hopping Campaign, followed by an hour of Chinese Field Day, then a quick 10 laps to the airport and back. |

Has anyone else had the emails come through their inbox yet?
I guess SgtMaj Kent saw it and contacted the CMSgt of the Air Force and they are taking it down. If you haven't got it in your inbox yet I am sure you will have before the end of the week the way emails get passed around. |
