Prior Service Need help!!

I'm prior service Army back in 2002 I was charged with felony battery but it was pled down to a misdemeanor battery,I was wondering can I join the Navy with this on my record?. I haven't been in any kinda trouble since then and I have a Secret Clearance(Needed one for my old mos in the Army)!.

Were you punished under the UCMJ or discharged dishonorably? If not, then you should be good to go on joining.

I don't believe the civilian conviction will make any difference. It certainly won't mess with your clearance eligibility.
