They reek of entitlement, a lack of discipline and a genuine desire to broadcast how uninformed and immature they are. It's an aroma that closely resembles a vinegar and water mix.

If you want to be an officer, you should always, always, always think about exceeding standards, not just meeting them, especially when those standards pertain to you as an individual.

I'm shooting to meet max requirements for the new PT test when I have to take it in ROTC next Fall or so. I had about 2 months to get ready for this PFA because I didn't decide to go Air Force until near the end of August. Right now, I am pushing myself harder to get to max PT standards.
