Variable Wind, You state people are not dying due to global warming or health insurance? What part of the planet are you living on motivator? I don't if people are dying due to global warming but to say people are not dying due to health insurance or lack thereof is ignorant. 2. Stating, "Everything Obama has done McCain would've done and it still would've been the wrong thing to do." is again, ignorant. Unless you have a crystal ball that has shown you what Senator McCain would've done-How do you know what he would've done? When attempting to debate an issue use facts. 3. You highlighted the points I made about electing the former POTUS due to his military experience (or lack thereof). You failed to highlight how I also stated, "Having military experience is a bonus but it shouldn't be the only requirement individuals use to elect a candidate for POTUS. When I chose to vote for Bush in 2004 the candidate that ran against him had military experience. I chose Bush due to Afghanistan.

In America, where hospitals and healthcare facilities are required by law to treat people regardless of their financial or insurance status. Youll find that on the planet Earth, a billions of years old planet that has warmed and cooled multiple times in its vast history without any help from man and is in no threat of imploding due to the fact that I drive a V-8.

Its not ignorant if you realize that what I said above about doctors being required by law to treat people. Heck we even have illegal immigrants getting free medical attention. Now in the UK, people are being turned away from care by the Government on a regular basis due to cost, or the maxing out and lack of availability of proper resources. Hmmm...which health care system sounds better to me? You can tell me all about how Americans are not as healthy as europeans and you will find that that probably has more to do with the fact that Americans are not worried that the hospitals will say "no vacancy" or "sorry but..." like they do in the UK, Germany, France ect. Because of that, our lifestyle is more gluttonous. We chow down on our hamburgers, drink our liquor, and smoke our cigarettes, because we know our doctors will be there to treat our heart conditions, cirrhosis, and cancers.

Its not ignorant if you have studied up on the policies and voting habits of the candidate prior to making a statement. Most politicians are routine, predictable and the same as all the rest. McCain is/was no different. He supported crappy healthcare legislation, bailouts, big government, and no gitmo. The only difference was basically foreign policy...which as it turns out, aside from Obama's world appology tour, hes doing exactly what McCain was talking about. Big suprise? Not really. Like I said, same candidate, different presentation. They were both going to continue making the same mistakes that Bush made instead of learning from them...or even not being dumb enough to need to learn from them. Alas, common sense dissolves quickly when you sell your soul to the large scale political arena.

Because I agreed with that part. You worded your post poorly then when you spoke of military experience, I would have better understood your meaning if you spoke of foreign policy experience. When you say military experience, I think of a guy who never deployed and spent a couple of years in the National Guard.
