A "Female Only" concept is not possible for a few years, which I've explained in prior statements. Read them before this kind of suggestion is tendered.

why not?

Teach females the same way you'd teach new recruits who dont know anything about a sub

Or, they could co habitate....just stay out of opposite sex rooms, have it be a punishable offense if theyre caught

"stay out of opposite sex rooms"? What "rooms"?
"punishable offense"? Sub-service is not quite as it is on surface ships.

It sounds simple on the surface but this is not a surface issue.
Dedicating a small section of a Sub is not easily undertaken because there are no small sections. Consisting of 20+ "Racks", each berthing area cannot be partitioned to provide privacy relative to access and egress.

Teaching females as we would any other Sailor is not the issue. Women are surely capable of learning the ropes but a Sub cannot have large quantities of trainees. Certainly not in groups of 20+ at a time.

In all honesty, I'm getting a bit tired and frustrated about explaining the living conditions aboard a Submarine. Especially when an individual knowing nothing about a Sub continually makes ignorant comments in the effort to make themselves heard.

Now hear this:
My comments are not sexist. Merely factual.
Please read the comments and learn from what is said by Sub-Sailors. Your questions will be civilly answered but until you can speak intelligently about this topic, refrain from making statements.

We would just add submarines into the same pot as our ships that are infested with pregnancy, sex, morale issues, weakened leadership, and low effectiveness.

It pains me to say this but I'm afraid you're right, Smarg.

So, any problems the Navy has with any of these issues are the fault of women ? Just wanting to be clear.

It is true that being on a sub is what 99.9% of the military is unqualified to talk about, but maintaining discipline is not. My comparsion is being on Acft with 20 plus coed crews with 1 operating lav for 20 plus hours. The submariners are considered the elite of the blue water navy and their all boys club is going to be broke up, welcome to the rest of the military. I know your Chiefs and officers will have to put up with things the rest of the miltary has to put up with a coed force, deal with it. The first hetrosexual or homosexual (get ready its coming) trist on a sub caught by their shipmates underway should have the book thrown at them at captains mast and removed from the Sub service even if they have their dolphins. From what I understand about the Navy this does get enforced on the surface fleet. The only thing the submaniers will say when this happens (coed boats)is "yes sir will comply". The first women enlisted and officer should be ready for a professional and tough no excuse training regimen. It must be a pass or fail standard, if she/he can't cut put her/him on the beach. Now its up to senior leadership to man up and back up the sub force strict standards from the medeling civilian leadership for the defense of the nation and the safe operation of a sub. Now everybody must act like a adult, if during general quarters if opposite sexes see each other in their birthday suits so what, women get ready to know your shipmates deal with it. The Navy should desentize the trainees at Groton of seeing each other in the buff. This should be the last thing a sub skippers has to worry about at GQ. I can only wonder if this gets too PC , a sub with closed security tape with no privacy that can be reveiwed by a Social actions office on shore if there are complaints.

Welcome the the United States of Socialist Republic.

A difficult to read and absolutely ridiculous post by the ignorant.
