Why anybody would go to that city, other than because they were doing something drug-related, is beyond me. I'm glad I've never been stationed at Fort Bliss, and I never will.

So it was off limits to "Soldiers" at Ft. Bliss, what about "Airmen"? If it wasn't off limits to Air Force personell (really stupid if so) then I guess the Airman wasn't breaking any rules. Still, aren't there strip clubs right outside the gate to Fort Bliss just like most Army bases? Interesting.

FM CNN:

"A statement from Holloman Air Force Base, near Alamogordo, New Mexico, confirmed that the airman was based there, and identified him as Staff Sgt. David Booher, 26."

Holloman AFB Cmdr did not have Juarez as "off limits"
NCO was reported to be "visiting family". (Still, a foolish trip to take, considering all the murderous activity, recently, in Juarez.)

Yeah, call me a skeptic but I'm not buying that he had relatives in Juarez.

With the name of David Booher, I believe you're right, unless one of his relatives was stripping there to earn some money on the down low.
