British submarine involved in accident
The British attack submarine HMS Tireless surfaces in video footage shot on March 17 and 18 during routine training. Two Royal Navy sailors were killed in an explosion aboard the sub on the night of March 20 during an exercise with U.S. forces in the Arctic Ocean off Alaska, according to Britain's Ministry of Defence. The submarine was submerged below the polar ice cap at the time. A third British sailor was wounded and evacuated by U.S. forces.
