Disney World offers troops free tickets
Posted : Thursday Jan 15, 2009 12:21:27 EST
Active-duty service members don’t have to give up their family vacations because of the downturn in the economy.
Thanks to the Disney’s Armed Forces Salute, active-duty military and activated Guard or reserve members can enjoy complimentary, multi-day admission to Disney’s U.S. theme parks and additional special ticket offers for family and friends.
From Jan. 4 to Dec. 23, troops can get one free five-day pass that covers admission to the four Walt Disney World theme parks, plus an additional five visits to a Disney water park, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive theme park or other attractions.
Up to five Salute companion tickets, also good for five days, can be purchased for $99 each, plus tax, for family and friends.
Walt Disney Land in California has a similar offer. Additional information is available at installation ITT/ITR offices, according to the Air Force News Service.
