Samsung debuts dual-screen cameras

Thanks to a dual screen on Samsung’s TL225 DualView Camera, photographers finally get to say cheese. In addition to having a 3.5-inch wide-screen touch display on the back, the camera also has a 1.5-inch LCD screen on the front. When you tap the front LCD screen, the smile-sensing camera automatically snaps a self-portrait when it “sees” your smile.
Need to catch a tot’s attention? You can set the front LED to play an eye-catching animation. The camera also can be set to focus on part of a scene and focus on faces stored in its memory.
The 12.2-megapixel camera includes a 27mm wide-angle lens with a 4.6x optical zoom, 720p high-definition video recording at 30 frames per second and dual-image stabilization.
The TL225 costs $350. The TL220, a similar dual-view model with a 3-inch touch-screen on the back, is $300.
