NEW YORK — It's Fleet Week in New York City.

A parade of ships along the Hudson River ushers in the festivities on Wednesday.

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is hosting numerous events as part of the 27th annual celebration.

A Memorial Day commemoration ceremony will include the unfurling of a 100-foot American flag, the playing of taps, a wreath laying and a rifle salute.

The USS Stout passes by the skyline of midtown Manhattan ion May 20 in New York. A parade of ships along the Hudson River kicks off Fleet Week in New York, as part of the 27th annual celebration.
