GLENDALE, Ariz. — An initial contingent of Norwegian F-35 fighters has arrived at an Arizona air base to be used in pilot training.

Base officials said two Norwegian F-35s arrived Tuesday at Luke Air Force Base, which is located on the west side of the Phoenix metro area..

According to base officials, Norway will have seven F-35s stationed at Luke.

Luke got its first F-35 in March 2014 and currently has 30.

In addition to the United States and Norway, Australia also has F-35s at Luke.

Other countries that will participate in F-35A training at Luke include Turkey, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, Korea and Israel.
